The future of India is that it will be a great nation, probably the third highest productive nation in the world. Though its population will be still contain some of the poorest wretches in the world.
Mostly due to the invasion of foreign powers the Indian culture has been severely effected by WESTERN CULTURE.
Western ways have merely modernized our Indian culture, in the way of letting go of certain beliefs and incorporating new ones
has imperialism had any effect on the development of counties today
india's strength is it's economical due to by traditional culture, weakness is it's political and constitutional agenda's.
Advantages of culture. Disadvantages of culture. 1.due to culture , we now have access to electricity. 2.we now have access to faster technology. such as the use of mobile phones.etc
The culture of India has been shaped not only by its long history, unique geography and diverse demography, but also by its ancient heritages. Regarded by some historians as the "oldest living civilization of Earth", the Indian tradition dates back to 8,000 BC and has a continuous recorded history for over 2,500 years. But due to the increasing development... Due to globalization… the rich culture of India is disappearing. The most impact is of western culture on India culture. Western culture is based more on materialistic factors where as our culture has a spiritual base. The culture of India is been disappearing by many ways… the youths in India do not respect their elders, the families in India live separate... And thus have lost contacts with their other relatives…the big point which is making the culture of India to disappear in bollywood… the dressing style of the actresses, the slang word used in movies are been influenced the youth to bad step of life. The young ones try to act the same as these actors do which is very bad to the culture of India…the lack of morals, the lacking faith in God, having late night parties, the influence of drugs and alcohols, least interest in Indian languages like Sanskrit, Hindi, Celebrating mothers day, fathers day, valentine day, fools day etc rather than celebrating our Indian festivals and thus wasting their precious time of life, Thinking to be independent at an early ageso I strongly say that accept good from that and try to know our Indian culture more than u definitely change mind.. Thnkyou!
there is a lot of influence of western culture on the youngsters of India. there are many unexpected changes in the youth due to influence of western culture. youth has started ignoring the wonderful Indian culture. they don't believe in marriages that is specially in arrange marriages. they don't like attending weddings and wishing good-luck to people for their further life time. they don't want to meet new people and grow more relationships in fact they don't even want to talk to their own family members. they just want friends, food and parties.
Western Culture Boon Or Curse Culture never talks to be a superstitious and stubborn but it teaches us to respect every other culture and its a free will nation where everyone is free to follow any culture which they like and found similar to their thoughts. So i don't find any problem in follwoing western culture but instead its the alarm to see what wrong in our own indian culture because of which people are so very attracted to Westernisation. We are far superior compared to western culture. In fact westeners find peace and happiness when they follow our culture. We indians do not realise this. Our culture is very old and time tested. We should realise this fact and adhere to our culture. Nowadays marriages are broken easiliy due to following to some extent the western culture. We need to take good things from any system and adopt the same.
The Germanic peoples who lived on the fringes of the Roman Empire and those who invaded the western part of this empire were influenced by Roman culture. They did not adopt it. They retained their distinctive culture. The influence was due to contact with the Romans
Western culture had a significant impact on Nwoye in "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe, as he became disillusioned with his father's traditions and converted to Christianity. The arrival of missionaries introduced Nwoye to a new set of beliefs and values that resonated with him, leading to his rejection of his Igbo heritage and eventual estrangement from his family and community. The influence of Western culture on Nwoye ultimately resulted in his transformation and redefinition of his identity.
That point is about 50 miles due west of Nasik, in western India.
Yes and no, like any musical genre j-pop has a distinctive sound due to the culture, however it has borrowed heavily from western influences.
