Under the gas tank. By removing the tank, you can see the coils mounted on the frame, above the engine.
Not the answer you're looking for, but I own a 1998 Valkyrie Standard, and I run a car tire that's mounted to the stock wheel/rim. I was tired of getting only about 7000 mi from my motorcycle tires, (both dunlap III and Bridgestone), for about $200, and found that a bunch of guys are running on car tires... I chose a Falken from a list of about 5 or 6 that the guys I found were running, I paid $85, and should get about 35000 miles from it, Im already at nearly 10K and it still looks new. If you need more info on this you can write me at nekeroom@yahoo.com
