This would depend on what type of oil you will be using for your premix. The oil base stock is either petroleum, semi-synthetic or synthetic oil and is mixed with gas at a ratio ranging from 16:1 (petroleum) to as high as 100:1 (synthetic). My 2 stroke I have is a 2001 Kawasaki KDX200 that I run Yamalube 2R at 36:1 with no problems. Although synthetics say you can mix them at 100:1 I would not, that seems way too lean to me.

What is the fuel to oil mixing ratio for a 1998 Honda CR 250?

The Fuel mixture Recomended By Honda for a 98 CR250 is 32:1 which means 16 ounces of HP2 Honda premix oil ( 1 Pint) to every 5 gallons of gas. I choose to mix 4 ounces to every gallon of gas, less spark plug fouling and alot crisper throttle response. Someone can't do math, it's 1 pint oil to 4 gallons gas. I usually mix mine 3.9 gallons 91 octane(I should use 96) gas to a pint of yamalube high performance 2 stroke oil. 32:1 is correct
