it depends on the tool and the mix ratio recomended by the manufacturer. 32:1 means 32 ounces of gas to one ounce of oil or 4 ounces of oil to one gallon of gas.however, most carb restrictions now have a 50:1 mix which means 50 ounces of gas to 1 ounce of oil.
A four cycle engine does not use a gas/oil mixture. The oil is in the crankcase and the gas goes in the gas tank. If you put oil in the gas on a 4 cycle engine it will run poorly and smoke a lot.
2 cycle engine are mixed 40 to 1 ratio. One Gal. of gas to 3.2 oz of oil.
2 cycle engine are mixed 40 to 1 ratio. One Gal. of gas to 3.2 oz of oil.
Oil is put into the gas of a 2-cycle engine as coolant, as it does not have a reservoir of it's own oil. The oil to gas ratio is the ratio of oil to put in a certain amount of gas. A common mix is 50:1, meaning 50 parts gas to 1 part oil. Note: Only ever put oil in the gas of a 2-cycle engine, which will usually have the gas cap labeled with an oil can, and will sometime be labeled with the mixture ratio. 4-cycle engines will not run on an oil/gas mixture and will simply foul the spark plug and cause extra carbon buildup on the combustion chamber sides.
50 to 1. 1 gallon of gas to 2.6 oz of 2-cycle engine oil.
Alot of these motors are automatic mixing motors but if yours is not the normal ratio is 6oz of oil to every gallon of gas.
Any quality 2 cycle engine oil
The mixture is a 40:1 ratio, that's 3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas
i have ran 6ounces of 2 cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas
Fuel to oil ratio on this engine is 50:1
50:1, meaning Homelite weed eaters with a 2-cycle engine require a mixture of 2.6 ounces of 2-cycle engine oil for every 1 gallon of gasoline. The mixture will stay fresh for up to 30 days, but should not be used beyond that period.
Its a 4 cycle engine.......gasoline only
