vascular plants
Vascular plants
Non-vascular plants is a general term for those plants without a vascular system ... All plants have a life cycle with an alternation of generations between a diploid ... It turns out that common
Non vascular is term used for plants and not for fungi, any how fungi lack vascular tissue .
To my knowledge, technically Botany is the study of plants and the specific branch of Biology that deals with plant life. Botany studies the growth, stucture, physiology, reproduction, pathology, the economic use, and cultivation of plants. Unless there is another area that may need researched when dealing with plant life, Botany appears to cover everything when discussing plant sciences. Botany and plant sciences appear to be the same.
There is no single term for non-flowering plants. There are several types of non-flowering plants: bryophytes, seedless vascular plants, and gymnosperms. Mosses and liverorts are called Bryophytes, the simplest of the non-flowering plants. They lack special food and water conducting tissues found in other plants. Seedless vascular plants (plants that have food and water conducting tissues but reproduce by spores, not seeds) include ferns and clubmosses. Gymnosperms include the conifers (Pines, etc.) that produce seeds from cones, not flowers.

Vascular plants are characterized by sieve tubes and related tissues of xylem and phloem. Previously all vascular plants were included under a common term Trachaeophyta.

Non-vascular plants is a general term for those plants without a vascular system (xylem and phloem). Although non-vascular plants lack these particular tissues, a number of non-vascular plants possess tissues specialized for internal transport of water. Non-vascular plants have no roots, stems, or leaves, since each of these structures is defined as containing vascular tissue. The lobes (rounded parts) of the liverwort may look like leaves, but they are not true leaves because they have no xylem or phloem. Likewise, mosses and algae have no such tissues. All plants have a life cycle with an alternation of generations between a diploid sporophyte and a haploid gametophyte, but nonvascular plants include the only plants that have a dominant gametophyte generation. In these plants, the sporophytes grow attached and are dependent on gametophytes for taking in water and other materials. Non-vascular plants grow from spores.
"Seaweed" is loose colloquial term for macroscopic multicellular algae. Algae, however, are not even plants but are protists. "Seaweed" plants would be correctly termed aquatic plants to which both vascular and non vascular aquatic plants exist.
The term "seaweed" is a general term used to describe a wide variety of non-vascular aquatic plants, or algae. seaweed uses sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to create food. For this reason, seaweed must grow near the ocean's surface.

In term of reproduction within the life cycle to main difference is that seed plants spread seed in order to reproduce whereas seedless vascular plants spread spores in order to continue the life cycle.
Yes, cscws is the more general term for group decision support systems than gdss
Pteridophytes are not amphbious plants . Amphibous plants is a term which is used for Bryophyta that live near or in water and include mosses and liverworts etc and are non vascular plants.Pteridophytes are vascular plants including Psilophtes Lycopsids Sphingopsida and Pteropsida, which live in various habitats mostly land mountaines and even deserts.
