What are computer networks?

Community Answer 1What are computer networks? I'm glad you asked. A given company or organization may have more than one computer, and can arrange for these computers to be connected (in more than just the way all computers can connect by way of the internet) so that they share programs, have access to each other's data, etc.__________________________________Community Answer 2A PC system is an arrangement of PCs associated together with the end goal of sharing assets. The most widely recognized asset shared today is association with the Internet. Other shared assets can incorporate a printer.

Does Naruto have computers?

The technology in Naruto is very confusing. They definitely have fridges, televisions, and electricity. The only computer I can think of, though, is the giant computer-like machine in the Chuunin Exams that randomly decides the pairs that will battle. I'm not even sure if that counts. But as far as the computers we're used to,--laptops, PCs--no.

What type of computer would be used to process scientific data and show the possible underlying patterns?

A super computer. A giant computer made out of super awesome parts which you can access and use from/with your very own not-so-awesome computer by connecting yourself to the super computer. But the super computers are sort of tricky. They become like REALLY hot so you need a somewhat awesome air conditioning system.

Do they make touch screen computers I'm not talking about a tablet.?

Yes they make touch screen computers. If you go visit your local Best Buy you can see one in person. They seem to be quite expensive. To me, they don't seem worth it because you would just have tons of fingerprint smudges on your giant computer screen. It's not as simple to wipe a computer screen off on your shirt as it is to wipe your phone off.

Why is the internet a large network?

This is actually a great question. Everyone has a Local Area Network (LAN). This could be as small as one computer plugged into a router in your house to as large as an office building. There is then a Wide Area Network (WAN) which connects several LANs together via a router. The WANs are then connected to each other via more routers. That is what an ISP is, a collection of routers with routes to the various networks all across the internet. All these interconnects form a web, hence the name the World Wide Web. *trivia* The Internet and the World Wide Web are actually two separate entities. The World Wide Web sits on top of the internet. (Internet is physical/link layer, WWW is protocol/application layer)
