first answer... Yes. (1. Sort of ... they come in many variations, none of which are very important unless it's imperforate (i.e. no opening).

second... (2. hey, i am 12 and i haven't had my piriod and i haven't had sex (OF COURSE! lol) but the first time i tried, i successfully fingered myself and it didn't hurt. i didn't bleed, and i felt no hymen. a hymen is a flap of skin over the vaginal opening. so, i think it is very possible that most girls do, but i didn't, so i guess some don't. so, not always do you have a hymen.

(3. i am not sure weather all girls do or not, but i think so. when i was seven, i was riding my horse bareback going over a small jump, and i think i broke my hymen because when i got home, my underwear was a little bloody and while landing the jump on the horse, i felt funny... kinda discomfort, but weirder... and when i bled in my undies, i know it was not my period because it was only that time. so i can't give you an answer, but i think this is helpful, because i am basically telling you that riding a bike, a horse, sports, and tampons are all ways of breaking a hymen, so people might think they don't have one and it might seem like they don't, but it could just be broken already. so, you can break one with out sex.

The hymen is a layer of skin that partially covers the vaginal opening. Its shape and thickness varies from person to person.

Any penetration of the vagina can tear or break the hymen, depending on that shape and thickness. Sometimes strenuous sports can break it. A finger, a tampon, a sex toy, or a penis might break it. However, some hymens are simply too thick to break or substantially stretch without a great deal of effort and pain, in which case you may want to consider a hymenotomy (incision which widens the opening) or a hymenectomy (complete removal of the hymen).

Some are born without. The hymen is a remnant from when we were in the womb and the vaginal opening was supposed to be closed. Later on when born parts or all of it went away.

It is a small piece of skin the covers the vaginal opening. It is generally broken the first time a girl has sexual intercourse but can also be broken inadvertently through other means. ie: use of tampons, masturbation, even riding a horse could tear the hymen due to the roughness to the vaginal area.

A hymen is usually small fold of tissue that partly closes the opening of the vagina and which usually defined as a girl's virginity. When it breaks, then the girl is said to have lost her virginity.

The hymen is a membrane that surrounds or partially covers the external vaginalvulva, or external genitalia. The size of the hymenal opening increases with age. It is not possible to confirm with certainty that a woman is a virgin by examining her hymen. In cases of suspected rape or sexual abuse, a detailed examination of the hymen may be performed; but the condition of the hymen alone is often inconclusive. In younger children a torn hymen will typically heal very fast, in adolescents the hymenal opening does extend from natural causes and variation in shape and appearance increases. In children, although a common appearance of the hymen is crescent-shaped, many variations are possible. After a woman gives birth, she may be left with remnants of the hymen, called carunculae myrtiformes, or the hymen may be completely absent.

A female hymen is a partial covering of the inside of a vagina, showing that the woman is a virgin, it can, however, not be present, because not all women are born with this.

Doing masterburatoin in girls effect their hymen layer?

No, unless you break your hymen

Does everybody have a hymen?

No, not all girls are born with a hymen. The hymen is tissue left over from development within the womb - at one point there was no vaginal opening, as the vaginal opening developed the skin that was covering that area retracted and became the hymen, but not all girls were born with a hymen. The hymen can be worn away, stretched, or torn partly or fully but usually even if torn fully or worn away it doesn't disapear completely - it's still there, just no longer in tact. Although sometimes a doctor may cut away a woman's hymen for medical reasons. There are also then girls who were born biologically male, thus wouldn't have a hymen.

Are there any physical symptoms to losing your virgenity?

If a girls hymen has not already broken, it normally breaks the first time that she has sex. The hymen is a thin piece of skin at the entrance to the vagina. When it breaks, it can be a bit painful (kind of like burning and a bit like stinging) and there is sometimes some bleeding. Some girls don't experience any pain or bleeding when their hymen breaks though. However, the hymen is often broken during normal day-to-day activites such as cycling, horse riding, running, jumping, dancing, doing the splits etc. Some girls aren't born with a hymen.

Is it bad not to have a hymen?

Not at all. Most of the time it's not a choice you make. Some are born without ones and often it breaks by itself. The hymen is a remnant from when you were in the womb and the vaginal canal was supposed to be closed. It faded as you were closer to birth and as you were born it has no purpose.

How menstruation come through hymen?

Your hymen should have an opening in it, allowing the menses to flow out of the vagina. If it is imperforated, it will not have an opening and must be surgically opened to allow fluids to escape.

Do all girls have hymen?

i believe all girls do have hymen but not all of them bleed during sexual intercourse . if you don't bleed that does not signify that you are not a virgin. some girls don't play sports but they lose it some how in another way without sexual intercourse. do don't have to know that you lose it.

Can hymen break in sports girls?

Yes, women can break their own hymen during non-sexual activities.

Can fingering yourself pop your cherry?

Yes and that is the most common reason the girls "hymen" is missing or "popped" as you put it.

What is a womans cherry?

The cherry is slang for the hymen or virginity. The hymen is a thin membrane just inside the vagina. Girls are born with them and It needs to be broken or torn to allow the penis to pass and then allow for normal sexual activity. it he moment the hymen is broken by a penis the saying gos that the cherry has been popped.

How do you break your hymen easily?

u can break a female hymen by having sex or even riding a horse anythings possible when your not all that gentle.mines broke when someone punched me really hard i almost cried and i bled a little

Is there a layer to brake when you use a tampon?

No, there is no layer to break when using tampons. You may be getting confused about the hymen - this is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening in some girls, however the hymen normally doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening so a tampon can easily pass through it, the hymen is also flexible so can stretch to accommodate larger things. Tampons can tear the hymen, but this is uncommon.

Can you break your cherry horseriding?

You cannot lose your virginity from horseriding. This question probably stems from the myth that a girls hymen (skin covering the vaginal entrance) can break from horseback riding. This is not a myth, but fact, but simply breaking your hymen does not mean that you have lost your virginity. Nowadays, many girls break their hymen before having any sexual contact. It is neither a good nor bad thing, just a fact of the world. Please do not stop doing something that you love, like horseriding, for fear of losing your virginity or breaking your hymen.
