The "Jazz Age" has also been known as the roaring twenties. During this time, new social norms had presented themselves and were widely adopted by the younger generations. Women's hairstyles had changed as well as the types of clothing had changed to expose more of the body. The term "flappers" was introduced at this time to describe the women that would partake in new fashion. This age also lead to new music, namely jazz. The introduction of this new music also created new dances such as the Charleston.
