I am not quite sure myself, but i have researched and wanted this answer to the question, too. Not too many websites say specific numbers, but i have come across one website that says the the whale numbers have decreased 70% in the last three decades. That's all i know, but i hope you find the answer!
people thought as if they were a threat to all humans so they go after them and kill them which makes the population decrease. So it mainly started to decrease around 2008.

Since then certain species are believed to have recovered in great numbers, such as Minke Whales, while other species, such as Blue Whales remain on the endangered list.
Most likely increase, due to removing a predator of the krill would decrease the number of them dying from seal predation. also other organisms that eat krill population will increase due to less competition.
The population of Orca or Killer Whale is somewhere around 50,000.
Their population is around 1.7 Million.
