The Mass is the greatest prayer of the Church because the Mass is the re-presentation of Our Blessed Lord's greatest prayer - His Sacrifice of Himself on the Cross to the Father for our salvation. THAT Sacrifice was the prayer of God to God, and all we can do is witness it, and thank Our Blessed Lord for IT.
