Really it depends on the spider... if the spider is a brown recluse, then you should understand it by the name. RECLUSE.. means alone in the dark.. all that means is that the spider hides in it's home during the day and comes out at night if you were ever to find the spider between say your leg and the wall the spider will bite because they feel threatened.
