What is the healthiest food you can feed a dog with Addison's disease?

I always fed my Addisons dog a homemade diet of rice, vegetables, and meat. Roxanna weighed about 70 lbs and I fed her 3-4 cups of food per day. She did great and I think fresh healthy food played a big part in her continued health.

Something like,

1 cup rice

2 cups water

vegetables (1 carrot, a couple leaves of kale, onion scraps, other veggie scraps)

1/2 lb venison or other game including and especially cartilage, organs, tendons, etc.

Bring all ingredients to a boil. Cover and cook on low for 30 min. Feed When cool.
