> It can make your heart stronger. Your heart is a muscle and just like every other muscle of your body, it's function can be improved through exercise. The most efficient method for improving the condition of your heart through exercise is a properly planned cardio training program that puts your heart through different levels of effort. The best way to effectively know how much effort you're asking your heart to work through is by using heart rate zone workouts. In this method, you first determine your estimated maximum heart rate, then divide that down into zone, based on a percentage of that maximum rate. For example, zone 1 would be 60% to 70% of your maximum heart rate. By having a properly planned and varying program that moves you through different zones in different orders for different amounts of time, you heart never gets to acclimate to the workouts and the effect always stays fresh.
