Mine was 266/126 last month when I went into mild heart failure in the ER. I'm feeling great now and walk four miles a day! I found a nurse's website which recounts some higher B/P's...even 280/150!
normal is 120/80... medicable is 140/90 at DR's discretion... dangerous BP can happen at any time but if you are exercising and ur BP gets to 240/115 stop... there's truth in "blowing a gasket"
if your blood pressure is 120/80 or 140/90 mmHg its normal, if its 140/90 mmHg or higher you have high blood pressure and if its 180/110 mmHg or higher than that you have really high blood pressure.
If you think you have high blood pressure, you should visit a doctor, but some supermarkets and pharmacies have a machine you can use to give you a general idea of your blood pressure. If you use one, take three readings over 5 minutes and average the scores out. Anything around 140 over 90 is high. Phil
The above advice is safe to follow, but NIH (National Institutes of Health) uses 130 over 80.
130 is not a problem.
When FDR had his fatal stroke, his bp was 300/190...
The aortic pressure during systole is the highest pressure.
225over113
Aorta has highest pressure. Pressure gradually decreases as blood moves towards heart.
The giraffe has the highest blood pressure in the animal kingdom. The next highest blood pressure belongs to the elephant.
Highest pressure in oil well
What position is blood pressure normally the highest and lowest? If a person was sitting, reclining, or standing, which position would cause the blood pressure to be highest and lowest? Also, if there was an increase in blood viscosity, cardiac ouput, and diameter of the arterioles would this constitute to an increase in blood pressure as well?blood pressure (BP) is usuall lowest standing position and highest in supine (reclining) position. This is because the blood return to the heart is decreased when standing.http://www.bloodpressureinc.com/what-position-is-blood-pressure-normally-the-highest-and-lowest/Exercise is at its highest when we exercise and lowest when we sleep.
Aorta
The systolic pressure is the highest pressure measured against the walls of blood vessels.
Giraffe
The highest pressure against the blood vessels is Systolic Pressure, and it occurs when the ventricles contract.
The blood pressure is the highest in the arteries. It will decrease continuously as it flows through the systemic circuit.

it is hypothesized that he ring pop increases blood pressure the highest
The upper Blood Pressure Number is the Systolic, Which is the force of blood in your arteries when you heart beats.
