If the knife has the number 56115 on it, it was made in the early 1970s and was imported into the U.S. it was from the 1950's
I saw on the website for Froglevellanding.com a wildcat knife from Soling en Germany, 24X blade, stag handle, for $95.

The blade of a gravity knife is contained within the handle of the knife. It requires a spinning motion or gravity for the blade to come out of the handle.
Unscrew the handle to relive the tension on the saw. Remove the old blade, hook the new blade over the pins on the saw and tighten the handle back up.

The handle unscrews which releases the tension on the blade. There is a pin through each end of the blade that slips into a notch in each end of the handle.
Full tang means the metal of the blade continues full length through the handle, making for a stronger bond between blade and handle.
