Holy Quran
The Koran is the holy book for the followers of Islam (called Moslems or Muslims), and tells about Mohammad. The King James Bible is the holy book for Protestant Christians, and tells about the Law and the Prophets, and Jesus and the Apostles.
Mohammad was famous because he was the last prophet sent from Allah. Through an angel, Allah gave Mohammad the holy Qur'an and Five Pillars who then shared it with the Islamic faith. Mohammad composed Sharia law, which consisted of 'Hadith' (reports of what he said and approved of), Sunnah (practical examples of the Qur'an), 'Fatwas' (rules from Islamic scholars) and the holy Qur'an make up Islam's beliefs and ethics known today.

Islamic Law, called the Shari'a, is based on the exegesis of Islamic texts, especially the Islamic Holy Book called the QUR'AN, but also including the Hadiths and Biography of the Prophet. There is also Qiyaas, which is a case by case applicability of previous precedent to present cases.
