Another interesting perspective is that of how most governments view them - they are known as model citizens and as orderly and mild. They pay tax, they obey law, and the only point of conflict is that they do not vote, campaign, join any army, nor do they involve themselves in any kind of politics or struggle.

This view has caused them to conflict - in World War 2, several thousand were sent to concentration camps in Poland and Germany for refusing to join the Wermacht or to support the Nazi regime. Not long afterwards, some of the same people found themselves sent to Siberia for refusing to support the Soviet government.
