Brahmanism seems to be an intermediate between Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism, when people could not understand the truth about the nameless and formless Brahman. What, therefore, came about is Brahmanism, with a kind of name and form. Probably after that came about the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva but all this is a figment of man’s imagination that is born out of ignorance. The whole idea of Brahman is the nameless and formless but when we give it a name and form, it loses its relevance. God is the power, God cannot be identified in a statue or a name or a form. God is unlimited. God is beyond definition and beyond comprehension.
