Today (6/20/12) after my CARMAX 52,000 Maintenance was completed I had a note on the invoice that my cabin air filter was dirty and needed replacement. I asked why they did not replace it and was told they did not carry the part. I checked on line for the filter and received information that the part number was PC5082 for the 'Cabin Air Filter - 1996 - 2008 Mercury Sable' $6.99. I called my local Ford Dealter 'Liberty Ford 410-655-2000' to see what the cost of the part and installation was and was told that the 2008 Mercury Sable does not have a Cabin Air Filter. So your guess is as good as mine.
IT SCREWS DIRECTLY INTO THE PRESSURE LINE.
The price of a 1995 Mercury Sable brake line system, would depend on where the parts were bought, and what specific brand type of the parts. Usually, better deals are found online than in stores.
I guarentee its a vacuum leak... i had a 1997 sable 174 and 171 all the time turned out to be a vacuum line
fuel filter is on drivers side on the line against the frame.
Any vacuum line connected to the plenum.
FUEL FILTER is: UNDER HOOD, CENTER, UPPER FIREWALL, MOUNTED IN FUEL LINE.
You can view the 2000 Mercury Sable owners manual on-line at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides ( the fuses and relays section starts on page 132 , it has the diagrams and lists )
the fuel filter is located on the drivers side next to the bottom of the engine. if you follow the gas line on drivers side to the engine you will see the fuel filter
drivers side frame rail directly below the drivers seat
Its round it has one line coming in one going out.
no, it should be in the cabin under the dash and above the e-brake with the rest of the fuses.
