What are the differences between input and output?

Depends on what you're referring to. Input could be a switch for example, output would be a fan or light coming on. Eating is an input, you can guess what your output is?

What are the characteristics of ttl nand gate?

A: It is simply a function of negating a true input, the other characteristics s that it is limited in fan-in fan -out capabilities

Where is the fan switch on a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird and how is it controlled?

no switch, fan control is determined by the engine control unit with input from the coolant sensor

Where does the power wire from the fan motor on a 1994 Ford Escort LX connect to the fan control switch?

There is no fan control switch, and no direct connection to any sensor or switch on that vehicle. The system works like this. The computer(PCM) decides when to turn on the fan. The PCM looks at engine temperature from the ECT sensor, and AC input from the AC control head switches. When the PCM decides that you need the cooling fan to come on, it uses the cooling fan relay, and the cooling fan high speed relay to turn on the fan, and whether it should run at low speed, or high speed. The power input to the cooling fan comes from the cooling fan relays.

What are inputs and outputs with an example?

Activity/Function : Ceiling Fan. Input : Electric current. Output : Moving air.

How much input current is being provided to ceiling fans?

If you can find the wattage of the fan and you know the voltage of the fan use the following equation. Amps = watts/volts.

How to draw NOT gate using NPN transistor?

RTL logic: NPN transistor. Emitter grounded. Input connected to base through a resistor. Vcc also connected to base through a resistor. If the input is high or open, the transistor is on. If the input is low, the transistor is off. Connect a resistor from Vcc to the collector. The collector is the ouput. You have to play around with resistor values to setup your fan-in and fan-out properties.

How do you calculate fan efficiency?

Basically you can't The whole point in a fan is the inefficiency that is used to push the air forward, the only efficient type of fan you could find would be the propeller of an aircraft, this is the most efficient form of fan that moves huge volumes of air with minimal energy input.

Do electric fan heaters and an electric oil column heaters both produce the same heat for the same power input?

yes

What makes the electric fan turn on on a 1999 Saturn sc 2 coupe?

The computer with input from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

What is mean by the term fan out in microprocessor?

The term Fan Out is a measure of how many loads a pin can drive. This is usually normalized to the load of a standard TTL input, which is considered to be a Fan In of 1. This is a digital logic term, not necessarily just a microprocessor term. Fan In and Fan Out are important, because you do not want to exceed the rated load placed on a pin without providing extra buffering.

The blower fan on your 94 Chevy suburban is not working how do you tell if it's a fuse the blower motor the blower motor switch or the resistor pack?

First thing is check the fuses. Then find the resistor pack and remove it front the mounting pins unplug the input leads. use volt meter to check input voltage. Should tell you what the leads are on the body of the resistor pack. If you get good voltage at that point - turn on the fan control (with the ignition key on) and check to output of the resistor pack. You will have to remove leads from the fan to do this. If there is no voltage on the output side - bad resistor pack, else bad fan motor. Check fan motor using jumper wires from the input connector that you verified earlier to the fan. These fans have a lot of torque so hold it tightly - may need a helper for this step.
