Button that releases gear shift lever- so vehicle can be shifted out of "Park" when foot is placed on brake pedal
If your talking about the interlock button on the right side next to the rear window button then this is for off road only or if on a step hill. Your owners manual goes more in-dept then I will but allows you to start the engine without depressing the clutch pedal. Its for 4x4 only, it says DONT USE IN NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS.
