Transfer RNA, usually called tRNA, is responsible for carrying the amino acid to the ribosome, where it is added to the polypeptide (protein) chain that is being synthesised.
Each tRNA carries a specific amino acid, and has a segment called an anticodon - which lines up with the codon of the mRNA so that the correct amino acid is added.
so RNA can be transfered

There are three main types of RNA: messenger RNA (mRNA), transfer RNA (tRNA) and ribosomal RNA (rRNA). There are other types, such as the transfer-messenger RNA in some bacteria.
Transfer RNA (tRNA) carries the anticodon.

If a molecule of mRNA has AUG as its codon, what anticodon must its complementary tRNA contain?
