If you raise the hood and stand over on the passengers side, look down at the engine. It is bolted directly to the front of the engine block, and houses the timing chain. The water pump actually bolts to the front of the timing cover. According to the standard labor time guide, which is what we all use to determine how much to charge for a job, it is about a 12 hour job. That translates to about a day and a half of straight working time.
