I suppose that you refer to Smörgåsbord. in Christmas there is a special type called Julbord. A traditional Julbord/Smörgårdsbord contains of several rounds. Of course there are variations after where and when you eat. One common thing is that the fish has an important place and there is almost always meatballs and some kind of potatoes.
