Men's teams are known as The Minutemen, and women's teams are The Minutewomen. Click on the link below for more information. This answer applies to the UMass flagship campus in Amherst. Other UMass campuses have separate athletic programs with different team names: UMass Lowell uses River Hawks UMass Dartmouth uses Corsairs UMass Boston uses Beacons
Umass has different specializations at each of the different campuses. Lowell has a great computer science program, Amherst has a great partying specialization. Dartmouth has a good nursing program among many others.
The largest Latino fraternity as counted by the number of chapters is Sigma Lambda Beta.
