The largest size DDR2 DIM sold today (2013) is a 244-pin MiniDIMM. It is used for DDR2 SDRAM. Currently, the fastest speed on a DDR2 DIM is 1066 MHz.
8 GB
ddr, or ddr2
Im afraid this is not possible. This motherboard takes DDR and / or SD ram, not DDR2.Both SD and DDR can not be used at the same time. IMHO DDR would be the better choice.Max allowed would be 2Gb (ddr 266 or ddr 200 buffered)Max allowed is 1Gb, unbuffered.Hope this helpsBe safe
DDR2 RAM is not the standard anymore. Until about 2007-2008 it was very commonly used. Today DDR3 is the standard RAM. Though DDR4 is in the works and will debut sometime soon.
The future of gaming is not in the amount of CPUs to use but in the RAM in the video card. Currently most cards use DDR2 (quad-pumped) which means data is sent 4 times during a clock cycle. That is where the speed is. In fact, you can find some video cards with DDR3 and DDR4 called fully-buffered DIMMs that can transfer data at 4.8GBps. That is fast brother.
A type of computer memory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2
There are 240 pins on DDR2 and DDR3.
No, the slots for DDR2 RAM is different from the DDR RAM. You cannot use DDR RAM with DDR2 slot.
DDR. Technically, there is no "DDR1", only "DDR" and DDR2".

they are different ram generations. DDR2 is the older and slower version of DDR3. DDR2 is about 800 MHz max. and DDR3 is about 1333 MHz minimum
