The Largest wild cat will be Manie Coon
The Maine Coon is the largest breed of domestic cat.
The largest wild cat is the tiger.
The largest wild cat alive today is the tiger.
The largest "house" cat or domestic cat, is the Savannah, a cross between a Serval (an African wild cat) and a domestic cat, usually a Siamese. The Savannah has only recently been accepted as an official breed. The Maine Coon and the Ragdoll are also large species of domestic cats. Others include the Ragamuffin, the Norwegian Forest Cat, and the Siberian.
The Savannah cat is the largest breed of cat allowed to be owned in New York. However, the breed is not allowed in the city of New York.
The second largest WILD cat is the Male African Lion
The term breed is for group of domestic animals (in this case, cats) with similar or the same appearance, behavior, and other characteristics that distinguish it from other animals of the same species. There are no breeds of cat that occur naturally in the wild. The largest cat species is the Siberian tiger.
The original hybrid is called an F1 and is considered too "wild" to be a house cat. A Savannah is the largest of all domestic cats.
Probably the Maine Coon because they are the largest cat breed. =)
The Ocicat is an all-domestic breed of cat which resembles a wild cat but has no wild DNA in its gene pool. The breed is unusual in that it is spotted like a wild cat but has the temperament of a domestic animal. It is named for its resemblance to the ocelot.
A family of wild cats could be some wild cats, but they are family. Or wild cats like the Ocelot (a kind of endangered wild cat) breed with a tamed cat to make another breed of tamed cats, like the Ocicat (and Ocelot breed with a tabby)
The largest naturally occuring big cat is the Siberian Tiger. Males have been recorded to be 3.2 meters in body length, excluding the tail. He/she weighs about 87I lb. The Lion is the second largest cat. The Liger, the offspring of a male Lion & and a female Tiger is bigger. But Ligers are usually not counted, as it's an unaturally occuring hybrid, created by human intervention and not available in the wild.
