The salient feature of this faith is that we never need to see the moon to end or start the month. Imaam Mo'iz (as) the 14th Faatemi Imaam coined the lunar calendar with the modification and calculations of the movement of the moon. With the help of this calendar we can tell when will Ramzaan Eid fall in the year 1450 AH. This is based upon the lunar misri or hijri calendar which began from the migration of Rasoolullaah (saws) from Makkaah to Madeena.
