The age of majority in AZ is 18. Arizona does allow a minor who is at least 16 and financially self-sufficient to petition for emancipation. It is not a quick or easy process. If you are in an unsafe or dangerous environment, then you need to report it.

In Arizona, you are emancipated if you are: married; 18 or older; dead; adopted; or if "support that had been extended past the age of majority has been terminated." If you are not any of these, and you run away from home, you are in "incorrigible child." You can be taken into the custody of the state, returned to your parents, or given to a probational facility, depending on what the courts decide. http://www.nlchp.org/content/pubs/Alone%20Without%20A%20Home1.pdf See pages 29 and 73 for specific Arizona statues.

That would be 18 years of age in Arizona. Until then the parents determine where you live.
