I assume you mean freshwater species, so, here you go. Most states have a 14 inch minimum for largemouth, 12 for smallmouth and spotted bass. The above are actually just big sunfish. For true basses, the striped bass has a 16 inch minimum. The yellow and white basses have no minimum size in most areas. As always, however, catch and release ensures plenty of sport for future generations, so let them go after catching them.
It depends on type of bass. A small mouth... 2-3lbs.12" or longer large mouth...4-6lbs.18"or longer. rock bass are smaller 8"to 10"would be big. These are nice size, but will get much bigger. I started playing bass when I was in Sixth Grade. Since then I have went through 3 different bass sizes. I started out at 4ft 5in with a quarter size bass. When I became taller I switched to a half-size bass which I suggest you use. A half-size should do the job but you might want to consider a quarter-size (they are kinda hard to find though). If you are really 4ft 10ft though I suggest an octobass. Maybe you can use it as a violin ;).
The Florida strain usually can live to around thirteen years, the northern to fifteen or more.
no there are various sizes for bass drums but i dont know the exact sizes
