20,000 lbs. statutory for each trailer axle, provided that there is a 10' spread between the axles. This does not affect the gross weight you are allowed.
Legal limits can vary from state to state, but a good general rule is 800 pounds per wheel. Axel weight limits should not exceed 73,280 pounds.
With a ten foot spread, you can have up to 40,000 lbs. total on the trailer axles, but no more than 20,000 lbs on each individual axle.
80,000, same as it is with a 53' van. Even with a 57' foot trailer, the 41' bridge law between the drive axles and the trailer tandems still applies.
I have a 2003 nissan murano and want to tow a trailer what is the weight limit
Yes and no, the weight of your payload + trailer weight on the truck cannot exceed the payload weight limit.
12,000 on the steers (can be up to 20,000 so long as the vehicle does not exceed the 80,000 GVW limit), and the drive and trailer tandems are permitted a total of 34,000 for each pair of axles. Trailers with spread axles are permitted up to 20,000 lbs. per axle for a total of 40,000 on the trailer axles, but again must remain within that 80,000 GVW limit.
You have to put your weight evenly between your trailer axles and your trucks rear axles. You have to know the weight limit of your truck and trailer, it should say in the owner's manual or you can read the weight limit on the tires. The majority of the weight should be on the trailer because if you put most of the weight on the truck the trailer will begin to fishtail. If it is a flatbed trailer and you look along the side you will see that it bows up, you should never load it to were it bows down because it is probably overloaded at that point. Also you should read the owner's manual to learn how to move the axles on the trailer.

44,000 is more like the limit on a tandem trailer.
96 Rav 4 tow limit is 1,500 lbs. Hitch weight limit is 150 lbs. But remember to include the hitch weight in the total trailer weight of what you are towing. And NEVER tow anything that weighs the maximum trailer weight
I believe it is 65ft total length from front of truck to back of last trailer. Some states require you to unhook if you are over the limit pluss about a $200.00 fine-
If you are talking about a trailer, I don't recommend you pull a trailer with a Corolla - particularly one of that vintage - at all. If you must do it, be sure you limit the weight to no more than 500 lbs.
