Braintree,Mass.
This question is difficult to answer because Massachusetts is a big state and it has many cities, towns, villages etc., all of which have buildings in them. If you are asking about the tallest buildings in Massachusetts, both of them are in Boston: the John Hancock Tower (790 feet high), and the Prudential Tower (748 feet high). As for other big cities in Massachusetts, the tallest building in Worcester is the Sky Mark Tower (289 feet high); the tallest building in Springfield is Monarch Place (401 feet high). Massachusetts also has many buildings that are not especially tall but are very historical, such as the Old State House (Boston) or the Boston Public Library; the Goodnow Memorial Building in Princeton MA, the Adams Academy in Quincy MA; or Hamilton Hall in Salem MA.

Yes. Dorothy Quincy Hancock was raised in Braintree (today Quincy) MA; she also spent some time living with relatives in Lexington. While she was married to John Hancock, she lived in Boston, where she became known as a hostess, whose parties were attended by some of the most important people in Revolutionary-era Boston. After her husband died in 1793, she eventually remarried, to a sea captain named James Scott. She lived with him in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (on the seacoast) after their marriage, but when he died in 1809, she returned to Boston.
