A CHL license is for handguns only. It does not allow you to carry any other weapon that someone without a CHL license can not carry.
You still can not carry on or about your person an illegal knife. An illegal knife is:
(A) knife with a blade over five and one-half inches;
(B) hand instrument designed to cut or stab another by being thrown;
(C) dagger, including but not limited to a dirk, stiletto, and poniard; (double edged)
(D) bowie knife;
(E) sword; or
(F) spear.
There are no other weapon carrying license in Texas. You can carry any knife that is not a switchblade (illegal to own) or is not an illegal knife even if you do not have a CHL.
What is the legal length of a knife can you carry in the state of Oklahoma? What is the legal length of a knife can you carry in the state of Oklahoma?
You can not carry an unconcealed handgun in Texas with or without a license.
Texas does not require a license to possess a firearm. A license to CARRY a concealed firearm requires that you be 21.
Publicly, you can only carry a 2 1/2 inch blade. But a license is obtainable. Where, I don't know.
A knife with a blade of 2.5 inches in length
4" cutting edge
pretty much any blade is legal as long as its not switch blades or has an automatic release
The max length for a folding knife is 4". I am not sure what the length is for fixed blades, but will find out. here is a helpful link.http:/homezperiodznetcomzperiodzcom/~brlevine/stazhyphenzlawzperiodzhtm
Jack Ruby could get any license he need, with ease.
If they're legal in Canada, they're more than likely legal there. As for length, 5 1/2 in. blade is the maximum, any more and it would be considered Illegal to carry in all 50 States. Illegal knives include; as I said earlier, blades longer than 5 1/2 in, Daggers, Spears, Throwing weapons (such as Knives and stars), swords, and any prohibited weapon (such as Switchblades, which are illegal in all 50 states). 4 inch blade (palms length) is actually the legal length for a blade
This is state or local law. It cannot be answered without more information.
It depends on the blade length and the type of blade. In California you cant have longer than a 3 inch blade concealed but you can carry a 3 inch and longer blade in your car for transport or I beleive as long as it is not concealed to you can carry it exposed in your hand or on the outside of your cloths. Im not sure about the individual state laws it could even vary per city.
