Certain Creosote Bushes in the Mohaji Desert are claimed to be 10,000 years or more. These cases however do not include the original plant but only clones of the original plant. Bacteria in the desert is said to 'endure' in its encapselled form for thousands of years, but I'm not sure how they have determined that. Bacteria from inside a mummy or some such thing maybe. If plants are not to be considered creatures then Human beings are the longest living animal at 120 years and more.
