There doesn't seem to be a limit on the time a person can be on methadone, if they are healthy. Having run 2 methadone clinics, the longest times I have personally seen people on methadone are one woman for 30 years (and still on it), one man for 25 years (with a brief break trying to use suboxone to get off of everything for about a month, but then he got back on methadone and is still on it, for a total of 35 years) and another woman for about 27 years. The doses these persons weere/are on range from 80 mg/day to 250 mg/day. As long as you eat right and maintain your health, methadone does not seem to have a "limit."
methadone
Yes. Methadone is metabolized within 30 minutes after taking it and it is possible that it can show up in your urine within that time.
It is simply the duration methadone remains active in your system. It does not necessarily refer to just the euphoric effects. AS you probably know, methadone has the longest half-life of all synthetic opiates.
Since methadone is the longest lasting opiate and has the longest half-life it takes a while even in smaller amounts. But at 250mg's, your looking at around a month give or take depending on your individual metabolism.
I do not think it is possible to test positive for methadone after taking ecstasy. Methadone is a synthetic opiate and ecstasy is a stimulant and hallucinogen. Even when testing for regular opiates methadone will not show up since its synthetic, methadone will show up on a urine as methadone only if they are testing specifically for methadone. There is no way ecstasy will show up as methadone on a urine test, ecstasy does not contain methadone.
Methadone mixed with benzos is one of the most lethal combinations possible and it is this combination that has been cited as the source for most of the methadone deaths being reported in the US.
Methadone, by far. Methadone is one of the strongest and longest acting opiates. Although it does not give the most intense "high" do not let that fool you, because it is powerful. 20mg's of methadone for a person who has never done it can last up to 2 days. Many people think because they have other opiate tolerance that they can take a high dose of methadone, but this is not the case. I have had friend die from methadone intoxication when he took about 60mg's on his first try.
impossible, the methadone should have shown up on the test.
I have read that because Methadone can give you dry mouth it is wise to chew gum and hydrate as much as possible.
The methadone will block the anelalcesic effect of lortab
Quinine has no effect on Methadone detoxification.
Yes, if you do not have a prescription for methadone and get caught with it, you can receive jail time.
