Before Causeway Blvd. heads west out to Pier 60,
its intersection with Coronado Dr. is located at
27° 58' 38.5" north latitude
82° 49' 40.8" west longitude
That point is incredibly close to 77N 45W ... virtually indistinguishable on a clear day.
the best beach to visit in Florida is siesta beach it is in Sarasota .The water is not salt water it is also very clear it is very beautiful so is the sunset!
That place is an enigma, wrapped in a mystery and signifying nothing. -- Longitude needs to be noted as either 'east' or 'west', otherwise it's not clear which half of the Earth it refers to. -- Latitude needs to be written as either 'north' or 'south', otherwise it's not clear which half of the Earth it refers to. -- No place on Earth has latitude greater than 90 degrees, either north or south.
South beach, Miami and the beaches in Ana Maria island are pretty clear.
Latitude is north/south of the equator measured in a series of degrees. Longitude is east/west, measured by a system of degrees from a fixed spot. So generaly at in a Latitude Longitude reading it will have a N or E. For example 25 01'59.72" N that would be latitude because of the N (meaning North) But in general I believe yes latitude is read first.
Aurora Borealis occurs with a center around the North Pole, and on clear, moonless nights during extreme solar wind periods, can be seen everywhere on Earth south of the Arctic Circle. There is no longitude or latitude for the Northern Lights.Since the Northern Lights are caused by the atmosphere, they are constantly changing and moving. They cannot have an exactlatitude and longitude because they are almost never in the exact same spot.
Latitude is typically, usually, traditionally listed first, before longitude. But that's not a hard and fast rule, and it's not always that way. You're free to list it either way you want to, as long as you make itperfectly clear which number is latitude and which is longitude.
A person can find a star by looking up at the sky on a clear day. If you are looking for a particular star, you will need to know the latitude and longitude of the star. You can then use a telescope to find your star.
60 minutes in each degree. The International Date Line is at around +180° longitude. If we start moving to the West from +180° longitude after 6 hours we will reach at +90° longitude position and after 24 hours we will reach at -180° longitude which is nothing but our starting position. In this time (24X60=1440 minutes) our Planet moves 360° in total. Now it is clear to realize that 1° equivalent to 4 minutes.
Being on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida, the water at Clearwater beach is much clearer than on the Atlantic side. Visibility both on and under water is excellent and makes for great snorkeling and diving.
