Briefly Explain The Guided Transmission Medias Which Are Used In Lan System
Guided transmission media means the data signals are guided along the path like cabling system. They dont have any other go they have to pass through the given cable or wire. Guided media are of 4 types : 1. Open wire eg:- Electrical wires from poles. 2. Twisted Pair. 3. Coaxial Cable. 4. Optical Fiber.
Guided Media : Guided Transmission Media uses a "cabling" system that guides the data signals along a specific path. The data signals are bound by the "cabling" system. Guided Media is also known as Bound Media Unguided Transmission Media consists of a means for the data signals to travel but nothing to guide them along a specific path. In a guided medium signal passes through a physical pathway(s),while in an unguided medium signal passes through a vacuum, it is independent of a physical pathway.

guided media is a communication medium which allows the data to get guided along it .For this the media need to have a point to point physical connection
Depending on a person's use of projected media, the major advantage is that the media can be shared with a larger group of people than non-projected media. However, the obvious disadvantage is that the devices are often expensive to buy and maintain when they need repair.
