No he wanted to just be famous that's why he made a big lie
The city of gold is real but not made of gold it made of bricks that had a coat of gold spreed on it (bricks). no one has found this city of gold yet some people think that this city is a legend but others think it real. El Dorado El Dorado is a legendary city of gold. It is seen as a type of "Holy Grail" for each man - the thing you most seek in life is found here. Basically, whatever your fetish, you will not leave unsatisfied from this place. Better yet, it is somewhere in South America, so it shouldn't cost you much to get there!
Originally, El Dorado was the name of a Muisca tribal chief who covered himself with gold dust and, as an initiation rite, dived into the lake Guatavita. It was later associated with the legendary Lost City of Gold, a city ruled supposedly by the Muisca tribal chief. This story inspired Spanish explorers, Francisco Orellana and Gonzalo Pizarro, to set out in search of it in a famous and disastrous expedition towards the Amazon Basin.Neither El Dorado nor the Lost City of Gold have been proven to have existed.
Lost City was created in 2004.
The mythical "Lost City Of Gold" is based on a rumor of a man , a native American man (a king), who is said to have dipped himself in gold dust and dove into pure mountain waters. The Man of Gold or " El Dorado" started to become viewed or imagined as a place, an empire, a golden city for the golden man, rather than what the name really means, which is "Man of Gold". So as of today, I don't believe that there is any solid proof to there being a real "City of Gold" just the assumption, that a man or king of gold must rule over a city or empire made of gold also. Found my answers on Wikipedia, this is fascinating literature, and truly keeps you wondering if it is merely myth or is there a real lost city of gold out there for someone to find. :) The website abovetopseceret.com has a great page My Grand Canyon Theory. Anunaki link A MUST SEE! read to the bottom and it will tell of the underground caves and hopi Indian tribe protecting the Egyptian gold in the Canyon it's a great article posted under conspiracy theory's. Also the video by David Hatcher Childress (Egyptian caverns in the Grand Canyon is fascinating) these things also tie to Coronado the Spanish that came for the seven lost cities of gold. also fact: gold is the number one shield of radiation and the number one conductor of electricity so why do you think the Egyptians were mining for gold even in America!
