The REAL 'love stories" in The Bible are the love God has for his creation, and the love Jesus has for his followers, which teach US how to love.
**(John 3:16)"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(KJV) (Ephesians 2:4-7)(1John 4:19)(Romans 5:7+8)(1John 4:10)(1John 4:8)(Romans 8:38+39)
**(John 15:13)"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.."(KJV)(John 13:1)(John 15:13)(John 13:34+35)(1John 3:16)(Ephesians 5:1+2) (Ephesians 3:19)

It could be arguable, but IMO there is no other writing/book in the Bible that expounds upon the depth of God's love as does the Gospel of John.
