The lowest class of Latin American society were the slaves. These people were not free to own land, own homes, or even to work to take care of their families.
While the class system has been removed in many countries, when it was in place there were many types of classes. The lowest was those who were enslaved.

They were called the "Mayeque". They were the slaves. The lowest on the social scale.
MESTIZOS
The upper class of Latin American society is often referred to as the elite or the wealthy elite. They typically hold significant economic and social power and often come from generations of privilege.
