LED televisions are lit wit LED and LCD televisions are lit wit fluorescent lighting. The biggest difference is the picture appearance. LED televisions have a slightly better picture quality but there are pros and cons to both types. You can read reviews at CNET in order to decide which would be best for you. As far as purchasing an LED television goes, you can find them almost anywhere that and LCD television is sold. Best Buy or Amazon.com are just two of the many choices you have in making a purchase of an LED television.
