Japan fought with Korea.

Japan is an island near Korea.

The similarities between all the islands are that they want the land.

Japan wanted a land, so they tried to invade Korea.

They invaded.

But, then we did a some exercises for independence.

So, Korea became independent.

There were a lot of wars that other lands wanted to invade Korea.

The main war is the war between North Korea and South Korea.

I live in South Korea, but today, some bombs are shoot by North Korea and there were a lot of news about that. There were a fire on mountains and buildings near Seoul, the capital city in South Korea.

The reason why it occurred was because neither side agreed with the other's political views. South Korea wanted a Democracy and North Korea wanted to stay communist. Technically the war never ended, and they are still at war just not physically. This war stirred up many conflicts due to the fact that many others besides Korea got involved; causing tension between them.The active stage of the war ended on 27 July 1953, when the armistice agreement was signed. The agreement restored the border between the Koreas near the 38th Parallel and created the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a 2.5-mile (4.0 km) wide buffer zone between the two Koreas. Minor outbreaks of fighting continue to the present day.
