The national language is Bahasa Malaysia, which is the national form of a language known as "Malay". Other countries that isn't Indonesia, that speak the same dialect call it "Bahasa Melayu" or just "Malay language". Malaysia's government doesn't want Malays to be the ruling class, so they changed the name of the language from "Malay" to "Malaysian", a term more comfortable for the Indians, Chinese, Orang Asli and Oran Alut people living in the country and other non-Malays who speak the language. In Brunei, Malays and Muslims are the ruling class, and the language is called "Malay".

So yes, Bahasa Malaysia it is.
