In the modern day it could be anything from farming to Information Technology. In olden days(last century) as a nomadic tribe they used to trade salt , grain etc. from east coast to interors. Some of them weaved baskets, fortune telling etc..Historically they were a hunter-gatherer tribe. Historians also say Kakatiyas and few other central and south indian ruling dynasties had their origins in this community.
