Yes but we use different plugs so if you are coming here you will need an adapter.
Mains voltage in new Zealand is 230v AC 50Hz. Mains plugs are 3-pin, with a vertical Earth, and two inclined pins for Phase and Neutral. (Same as Australia) If the charger you are referring to is the type that plugs into a cigarette lighter - these are common to all (?) cars.
AC 220/240 volts
Yes of course it does. Microwaves, Tvs, hair dryers, toasters, iron, etc do work in Fiji. It also works in Australia but American appliances does not work in Fiji though.
the voltage of the mains electricity in the UK
New Zealand uses 230 V @ 50 Hz, the same as the UK and Australia. Wall power outlets are the same as Australia - two flat live and neutral blades in an inverted-V shape, with a single vertical flat earth pin below New Zealand's mains supply is incompatible with appliances designed for the US and Canada (120 V @ 60 Hz) - so do not attempt to put a US appliance in a NZ socket by bending the pins. High voltage lines are usually at 230/400 V, 6.6kV, 11kV, 22kV (local distribution), 33kV, 50kV, 66kV (sub-transmission), 110kV, 220kV (transmission) and +/-350kV HVDC (the inter-island link connecting the North and South Islands across Cook Strait)
The mains voltage is 230 volts, and the frequency is 50Hz.
No. different plug, and different mains voltage. though you will be able to get an adaptor.
In the UK the mains voltage is 240 volts
This will depend on your country and of course on your mains voltage. In New Zealand, 230v AC, 60 Amp would be a common mains fuse for a residence.
220/240 volts AC
No it wont. Our TV system uses a 'frame rate' of 50 frames per second - the US uses 60. Additionally, the US mains voltage is different to ours.
220V
A 'service mains' is not associated with an electricity 'transmission' system, but with a low-voltage 'distribution' system. The service mains is the name given to the cable that connects a building to the low-voltage mains supply.
You get power, which is voltage * current (so both!).
230 V
Less likelihood of electrocotion.
