I have confirmed that the shotgun is indeed a Stevens. Can anyone give me a date of manufacturer based on the above stamping numbers? Serial number lists are not available for Stevens guns, but if you will tell me exactly how the Stevens comapny name is written on the gun, I can give you a general time-period.
You can find a replacement firing pin for a Stevens model 87D 22 cal rifle at a gun dealership. You can also find it by contacting the manufacturer.
Depends on it's condition. Stevens is antique and no-longer in business Stevens Arms was an American firearms manufacturer founded by Joshua Stevens in 1864. The company introduced the .22 Long Rifle round and made a number of rifle, shotgun, and target pistol designs before being bought by Savage Arms in 1920. After 1920, Stevens made training rifles and machine-guns for the US Military. Savage stopped using the Stevens brand by 1950. (wiki)
It's a Stevens 620.
This can be found on the manufacturer's website. You can also find one when you purchase the gun at the store.
No, they were discontinued in 2005. As a side note the 411 was not manufactured by Steven/Savage Arms, but rather Stevens/Savage Arms contracted with Baikal Arms of Russia to manufacturer the 411. Stevens will be introducing the replacement model for the 311 and 4111 in July of 2009, the MSRP is double what the 411 sold for, the MSRP is going to be $799.00
As of 2013, the value of a never been fired Stevens 12 GA model 67E with 3 chokes in the original box packaging and paperwork is around $300 in good condition. The manufacturer Stevens Arms was founded in the year 1864.
