I believe that the original manufacture was done by Mossberg and sons.It could be 2 different models thou.If your shotgun is a 2 shot and has a 2 3/4in chamber ,then it is the model 190 series of shotgun that was made from 1955-1958.If your shotgun has a 2 shot detachable magazine and 3in.chamber then it is a model 390 series which was made from 1971-1976.I hope that you find this informative.
