Three lead RTD is an industrial standard when a bridge arrangement is used. The advantage of this design is it distributes resistance due to the connecting leads equally to the adjacent arms of the bridge making lead resistance insignificant and avoids any error due the same. When it comes matter of using xtr we need to add lead resistance with the R4 as given in the datasheet of texas. This can be done by using a variable resistance for R4 and do change the R4 such that the output current becomes 4mA for lower bound of range.. (ie) (their is no need to use the 3 lead RTD for accuracy same accuracy can acheived here with 2 lead RTD. just by having a variable resistor R4)
Due to the pressure rise developed through the impeller, a pressure difference exists across the hubs and covers such that the impellers have a net thrust in the direction of the compressor inlet. The balance piston counteracts that by being located behind the last impeller. This is accomplished by subjecting the outboard side of the balance piston to a low pressure from the inlet side of the compressor thereby creating a pressure differential opposite to the direction of the impellers. This pressure is acheived by connecting the area behind the piston to the inlet using a line. The impeller thrust not balanced by the balace piston is absorbed by the thrust bearings. To keep the window well flooding it would be wise to use a length of hose attached to your outside water spigot. Direct the hose into your window well (be sure not to point the hose directly into the window as this will defeat the purpose of having the well flood) and give the knob 1/4 turn. If this is not a sufficent amount of water to properly flood your well increase the knob turns by 1/8 turn until the desired flooding is acheived. As to clenliness I suggest that the lenght of hose used be sufficent to allow you to hide it from view within the garden or behind bushes. Remember neighbours don't like to see unsightly hoses laying about your yard. You could go so far as to bury your hose underground but be sure to bury it below the frost line since you won't have the desired flooding of the well in the winter. I also suggest you get a spigot splitter so you can flood your window well and water the lawn at the same time.
