What is the max amount of time a period should last and what are the symptoms after having a miscarriage?

Im the one who asked the question because I'm on birth control and I came on my period 9 days ago and I'm still on and the two days before I started it was real light spotting then a day ago a blood clot that was unusually big passed through and I looked on here and they said if I leave it in alcohol for a day and if it turns out to be tissue then I had a miscarriage and It did but my mother doesn't think it's a ig deal...as usual...so please can someone please help me I don't kno if there's something wrong and if I should go to the doctor.!
Yes always go to the doctor if you suspect something is wrong. It's not much they can do about it if it is a miscarriage but it needs to be checked.

You should go to the doctor immediately. Could be having a miscarriage. Or, pregnancy symptoms are very similar to period symptoms. Did you start your period?

Probably not. A week or so either way doesn't mean you are pregnant and some months you don't have all the symptoms. If it was a miscarriage you would have had more than that.

Antibiotics can sometimes cause the symptoms you mentioned but its unlikely. See your Doctor for a blood test asap.
