around 5,500. but it does depend on alot of things. how many miles are on it. if it has been rebuilt what kind of parts were used (forged, cast, etc..) but for a stock 305 i would never run it over 5,500. but also you have to take into consideration that a fairly stock 305 will make peak torque at around 4,000 and peek H.P. at about 4,800-5,000. so reving it any higher isn't gaining you much. hope this helps
95cc arent worth it 140 HP@ 3800 RPM's with a 2-barrel carb.
On my 83 z28 305 it is 700 rpm
Set timing at 36 degrees at 2000 rpm's
yes 6000 rpm on a 305 is WAY too much the max is 4500 and 5000 and that's pushing it. A stock small block Chevy has plenty of power no need to wind it up that much!!
rev the engine to about 2500 rpm's and turn the distributor until you find that sweet spot.
88 bhp - 65 kW at 6000 rpm is the power of the Peugeot 305 1.3 1979 engine and its maximum speed is 100 mph (162 km/h).
Advertised Horsepower is--160 HP @ 4400 RPM With 4 bbl Carb.
Freshly rebuilt with good carburetor at 5000 rpm, 200 horsepower maybe a little more
my manual says 4200rpm to 4600rpm at full throttle
64 bhp (65 PS/48 kW) at 4600 rpm is the power of the dodge diplomat automatic 1979 engine and its maximum speed is 94 mph.
red line's at 5500
6000 rpm
